Dr Neo Mapitse appointed in Paris

The OIE Regional Representation for Africa is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Neo Mapitse as Deputy Head of the OIE Animal Health Information Department, responsible for the World Animal Health Information System (WAHIS) and Database (WAHID) in Paris. Dr. Mapitse is currently OIE Sub-Regional Representative for Southern Africa, based in Gaborone, Botswana. The OIE staff in Africa congratulate Neo on this achievement and wish him, and his family, an excellent start in Paris, due in September 2014.

Meanwhile, the OIE has launched a vacancy for the recruitment of a new Sub-Regional Representative in Botswana.
