WOAH, under its Fortifying Institutional Resilience against Biological Threats (FIRABioT) Project, is supporting its Members to strengthen the governance and capacity of national Veterinary Services to better detect, prevent and respond to biological threats. Following a series of national and regional trainings, Madagascar has requested support to develop a comprehensive national biological risk management manual for its veterinary laboratories
WOAH is inviting qualified service providers to submit proposals for technical assistance to develop a national biological risk management manual for veterinary laboratories in Madagascar. The consultant(s) will work closely with national stakeholders and WOAH’s Preparedness and Resilience Department to support risk assessments, develop risk management manuals, and produce a validated national manual with an implementation and sustainability plan.
The successful consultant(s) will be expected to:
Natural and legal persons, as well as consortia, may apply. Only one proposal may be submitted by each individual or entity. Co-contracting and subcontracting are not permitted. Tenderers must meet WOAH’s eligibility requirements, including compliance with tax and social security obligations and absence of conflict of interest.
