Ms Ekbel Ghrissi Joins North Africa as Administrative and Financial Assistant

On 1 September 2026, Ms Ekbel Ghrissi joined the WOAH Sub-Regional Representation for North Africa, in Tunis, Tunisia, as Administrative and Financial Assistant for the HeSP (Health Security Programme) project, funded by the World Bank.

A Tunisian national, Ekbel holds a degree in Management Sciences and a Professional Master’s degree in SME Creation and Management. Before joining WOAH, she gained solid experience in administrative, financial and operational support for the implementation of international and regional projects, particularly in the areas of migration, equal opportunities, combating gender-based violence, and inclusive municipal leadership.

Her experience includes budgetary and financial monitoring, preparation of reports and audit files, processing of payment requests, logistical organisation of events, training sessions and missions, as well as the monitoring and updating of administrative files and project document archiving.

In her role at WOAH, she contributes to the administrative and financial monitoring of HeSP Project activities within the Sub-Regional Representation for North Africa, ensuring compliance with procedures, monitoring budgets and expenditures, and supporting the effective coordination of operational activities.

Drawing on her experience in administrative and financial management and her support for the implementation of international projects, Ekbel now applies her organisational, financial monitoring and operational coordination skills to the activities of the WOAH Sub-Regional Representation for North Africa.
