World Veterinary Congress 30 Cape Town
The Regional Commission organises (on average) every two years a Regional Conference devoted to technical topics and regional co-operation for the fight against the animal diseases. These Conferences take place in one of the countries of the region, The Regional Commission submits accounts of its activities to the World Assembly, to which it can also submit recommendations.
The next Regional Conference will take place in February 2025 in Ethiopia.
