With the financial support of Global Affairs Canada’s Weapons Threat Reduction Programme, WOAH is implementing the Fortifying Institutional Resilience against Biological Threats (FIRABioT) Project to strengthen the governance and capacity of Veterinary Services to respond to biological threats across Africa. Following a 2024 workshop on risk and crisis communication in animal health emergencies, Tanzania’s Directorate of Veterinary Services requested support for the development of a national Emergency Risk Communication (ERC) Strategy
WOAH invites qualified service providers to submit proposals for technical assistance to develop an Emergency Risk Communication (ERC) Strategy for Tanzania’s Veterinary Services. The consultant will collaborate with national stakeholders, WOAH’s Preparedness and Resilience Department, and (sub) regional officers to create a comprehensive and context-specific ERC Strategy tailored to Tanzania’s resources and needs
The successful consultant(s) will be expected to:
Natural and legal persons, as well as consortia (either officially established or constituted specifically for this consultation) may apply. Only one proposal may be submitted by each individual or entity. Co-contracting and subcontracting are not permitted. Tenderers must meet WOAH’s eligibility requirements, including compliance with tax and social security obligations and absence of conflict of interest
