The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) is seeking a qualified consultant to support its Biological Threat Reduction (BTR) work under the Fortifying Institutional Resilience Against Biological Threats (FIRABioT) Project.  Based in Nairobi (with remote work possible), the consultant will work closely with WOAH regional and headquarters teams to plan, deliver, and report on an ambitious six-month technical programme, including 12 in‑person workshops across five African countries between March and August 2026.

The assignment will strengthen national capacities in contingency planning, risk communication, laboratory biological risk management, and the management of high‑consequence agents and toxins, engaging Veterinary Services, laboratory professionals, and law‑enforcement authorities.
